Debts of the testator
By testator's debts one understands the obligations, which the testator entered still during his lifetimes or which were still developed during the lifetimes of the testator (§ 1967 exp. 2 case 1 BGB). The heir is liable for these debts. The testator's debts are part of the estate's liabilities.
